Who is it for?

This coaching programme is for any woman who wants to feel great in her skin again. Have you been struggling with your weight, your energy, your skin, low mood, painful or debilitating menstrual cramps, bloating or inexplicable stomach issues? Have you been 'brushed off' by your doctor, or told these are 'normal' parts of PMS/peri-menopause/being a woman? Would you like support to come off birth control medication? Do you feel demotivated, stressed out, no energy to go after your dreams, or lost about what your dreams even are? Do you snap at your partner or loved ones every month, and then feel guilty, but you don't feel able to stop? Do you feel disconnected from your body? Who is this programme NOT for?

This programme is not the right fit for you if you...

Just want to take a pill for your problem(s), and are not willing or able to make any changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Want to be told what to do and don't like the idea of listening to own body or experimenting with different things to see what works for you.

Want a calorie and macronutrient breakdown of what to eat. Counting calories is not part of my approach and can sometimes lead to obsessive or unhealthy behaviour around eating. I believe in focussing on QUALITY, not quantity, when it comes to calories.

Charlotte gave me lots of great advice regarding my diet, how I could improve my schedule to feel better and how to get more in tune with my cycles, which was very helpful and I learnt a lot regarding how my body works and what it needs regarding those moments. FAQ

What is Health Coaching?

Nowadays, GP and doctor consultations usually last less than 15 minutes, and most often they will simply prescribe something for your individual symptom(s), rather than addressing the root cause of the issue. This is where a health coach comes in. A health coach is there to help you dig deeper to understand the root cause(s) of your issues, to help clarify and find ways to overcome the obstacles that are preventing you from achieving your health goals, and to provide you with the tools you need to make lasting change in your life.

What does a Health Coach do?

A health coach is kind of like a cheerleader; someone who is there to support you and provide you the encouragement you need to achieve your goals. I offer tips and recommendations each session, but my main role is to empower you to take your health into your own hands, to learn to listen to your body, and to help you overcome whatever obstacles are holding you back from achieving lasting change. Having someone hold you accountable to your health commitments also increases the likelihood that you will implement the changes you need into your life.

Where does your health coaching take place?

Coaching sessions take place online over Zoom (you need to sign up for a free account). Try to find a quiet place to take the call if possible, somewhere you won't be disturbed.

What does a health coaching session typically look like?

Each coaching session is unique to the client's needs; however, as a rough image, we start by discussing your health goals, breaking them down into manageable chunks. Sessions are primarily client-led, giving you plenty of space to talk and be heard. I will offer tips and recommendations at the end of each session for you to try at home over the next few weeks.

Do I have to commit to 6 months? Don't you offer a shorter package?

Research and experience has shown that 6 months is the optimal amount of time in order for you to put in place lasting habits and to make sustainable changes in your life. This amount of time means I will be coaching you over family events and gatherings, holidays, work parties, and other situations where it's easy to 'fall off the wagon' and fall back into old damaging patterns. At the end of the 6 months you will therefore feel confident that the changes you have made are sustainable and that you can carry them forward without me.
However, if you are short on time, I offer a fast-track 3 month programme (12 sessions total, £540 for the package), where the sessions are weekly instead of fortnightly. This requires a bigger weekly commitment to change from you.
I also offer a 4 month programme, comprised of 8 sessions in total (rather than 12), for those that perhaps have only 1 or 2 health goals they would like to work on. Ideally these sessions are fortnightly (giving you time to integrate everything we discuss into your life), although if you prefer weekly sessions this package can also be done in 2 months (but bear in mind this requires that you put what we discuss into practice very quickly).
The minimum coaching package I offer is 6 sessions which can either be done in 3 months (fortnightly sessions) or 6 weeks (weekly sessions).

What if I change my mind, or something comes up and I can't commit to the programme?

By signing up for health coaching, you are making a serious commitment to yourself and your health as well as to me. However, I understand that sometimes things happen that are out of our control, so I offer a 14 day 'cool off' period; if you cancel within 14 days of signing up to the programme you will receive a full refund (minus the cost of any sessions you had during the 14 days). After the 14 days there is a £25 cancellation fee plus the pro rata share of the programme that has been delivered.

Do you offer any kind of discounts?

Yes, I offer a 10% student discount with valid ID. I also offer a "pay monthly" offer on all my packages (£120 per month, 2 sessions a month) for those that prefer. I want to make health coaching as accessible as I can, as I believe everyone needs this knowledge; if you are experiencing severe financial and economic hardship please get in touch and we can see what we can do.
